I’ve shown them on several occasions blatant cheating and their standard reply is that there is no cheating in this game...

What cheating are you referring to? Unless you classify using real money to buy gems to accelerate or buy an item, but that my friend, isn't cheating, it's a choice. You say your choice is to not spend any money, and the game gives you that right, but those that do and support the game by doing so, are not cheating.
