Just saw someone on the wm still selling jade and ruby, so I decided to visit the island as I expected to find another (high-level) veteran player. Guess what did I find? Player is only level 42 and is currently constructing the pet sanctuary . That hints towards an almost 3-year absence. So I guess a comeback is always possible
Just wanted to share this odd combination

Oh bring back the Jade, Ruby, and emeralds. Let us trade our gems for the pets we want, and as many we want of them.

I love to have an island filled with humming birds, ducks, and parrots ( when I finally get one).
Sands filled with Shelly's and King and Queen crabs.

Of course cats, big and small.

Just think of the diverse islands there would be, each of their own choices.......or maybe none. No pets, just deco.

I think Anja would be happier to bring us gems instead of stickers. After all, she's not a kindergarten teacher.

If I don't like it, they don't get an invite to my island.
No ghosted pets, except for the parrot.
No inner tube water pets either.

What was once great can be great again.

They already had the coding for it, and it was a system that worked.
It would allow players to be able to adopt/or not pets of their own choosing at on their time schedules.

Instead of Tradefest they could have other type of in-game events for those who are on their games more often with different types of prizes.

Not only that, it also was cheaper! I just couldn't resist and bought these gem stones yesterday , just to get the animal board back and I even spent some gems to get a flower. Now I see that it would be much cheaper to get a pet (with 1 flower on hand it would cost me 720 - 1,260 gems to get one of the original pets, which would be at 3 stars by now because they are doubles) in comparison to all these stickers needed for the same results.
