I opened up my eyes and saw de-signs

Postby Kittykatz » Sun Feb 03, 2019 7:43 pm

I love seeing the creativity of our trademasters. There are so many amazingly orchestrated islands out there.
I also love the little touches as well, sometimes they can pack a real design punch.
Since the groundhog predicted an early spring ( let's hope) I'd like to share some inspiring designs.

I love this pathway, the single paths leading from the beach remind me of peacock feathers.

Image

I love the use of the hippo rivers here to create a Serene place to chill out.

Image

A different take with our hippo rivers and some water paths......I can definitely picture myself sitting and cooling my toes in there.

Image

Here's a refreshing welcome.

Image

A simple yet elegant symbol of love, peaceful and welcoming.

Image

There are so many more striking details I have seen on my friends islands as well as foreign ones, these are but a few.

Hopefully, when you see something that catches your eye, you can snap it and share it.
This way we can have a gallery of inspiration.

Oh, in case you're wondering about the topic title, I drew my inspiration from this.

I'm back from sailing and caught 2 more fetching pics.

This one reminds of a Winter Willy Wonka River. It looks those Coconut Snowball Cakes in a river of blue Koolaid, fenced in by a wavy Taffy strip.

Image

I'm posting this very artistic and unique use of our new event items. ( I hope Ann was finished with this section. She changes her island often and I didn't want to miss sharing this. )

These two forum guys sure know their way around landscaping.

Our friend Jerry has traded in the Winter Wonderland for a lush green peaceful Volcano Island. Plenty of paths to take his Texan lady for a romantic stroll. :D

Our gif jokester Bobbo wasn't joking around when he created this , by the water, quiet getaway.

This lady Image has created a cozy place for our Sweetheart Swan and her little ones. Don't forget to bring the feed.

Well, here's what some of my friends are doing about the wedding.... :D

Ely has everything prepared..... :D

Egersund is out of town, but he left a message where to send wedding invitation

Goofy only needs to add few benches and ceremony can start...

This friend of mine planned only standing guests :D

On Brenda's island, Wesley is alredy there, waiting for Sita to show up....

On Carmen's, standing guests only too....

JustSad forgot about the wedding as she was buisy watching for scary bunny

And Kitty just took a nap....

Lol. I had forgotten how much JustSad hated that chocolate rabbit with the crazy eyes.

I love the Wedding themes Joanna. :D

It's fun to see how others put together little storyboards on their island. How we each put our own personal stamp on our islands is a fun part of the game.

It's funny that some of us never change too. JustSad continues to hate on her bunny, and I'm too busy catnapping to set up for the wedding, or set up my landscaping.

Thanks Joanna for adding to our photo gallery. :D

Thank you Joanna for inspiring me to incorporate seating at my Gazebo :D Don't know why I didn't think of this myself. I know I wouldn't be happy attending a wedding ceremony without seating, especially when wearing heels!

Some great ideas on here! :D
