I've had Shelly since last TF and the only time I get pearls from her is when I feed her a Primo treat. I have never gotten any pearls from just feeding her shrimp.

I don't think many people stack pet rewards and then unload them to generate coins in the market. It's a pain in the butt to make sure your storage is full every time you feed a pet so those rewards stack. Not worth the effort for the coins, especially when you can just buy tools in the bazaar. IMO ...
