Just a question, when players talk about stacking. Does this mean keeping everything in bubbles

Yes. Once your treehouse storage is full, you can load mills without collecting. Some players have raised this to an art, with stacks donzens deep. There is a point where you actually have to start keeping records to know what you have and how deep it is.
To make this work, you have to be able to refill storage after loading a mill if it consumed a treehouse item. You also need to have items in storage you can clear out quickly and easily when you need to unstack to get to an item.
