Another Tiki Bar, Please!!!

Postby DBHosey » Thu Nov 29, 2018 6:36 pm

We have so many products that require coconut milk that I am continually making coconut milk from the tiki. I have to wait for the coconut milk to finish then I can make something else but in the mean time what coconut milk I had already made is being used before i can make anything else. Please, please, PLEASE give us another tiki bar. Please!!! Thank you .

Yes please! Some special events with extra mills as the main prize would be awesome.

As an alternative to a second mill, which would require even more land on which to put it, maybe there could be a way to just add a second row of bubbles, in effect making two sets of items using the existing mill. That would allow us to make double the items at the same time using a single mill. We wouldn't need more space for a second mill, but would have the benefit of a second mill, as such. PB Devs...surely you could figure out how to do that? Now THAT would be a win-win.

Isn't a second row of bubbles just increasing the ordering capacity? Can't you do the same thing by clicking on the mill as soon as it finishes and ordering 5 more?

I have a feeling that the poster means the second row of bubbles would produce concurrently. Otherwise it would be as Jerry said.

Though with a second row you could set up longer strings of things, like before you go to sleep or when you’re off to work, queuing up 10 coconut mills vs five would be lovely....in other words when you’re not able to restock the mill as things finish

Actually, you could extend every mill to 10 slots, and make the gold to do that increase a nice chunk of change, so we would have something to spend our millions on. First extra slot, 100K, second slot 250K, etc.

To run with the concept of using our gold, we could use gold to hire extra seagull employees for mills. Pay $X/hr for the blacksmith or $Y/hr for the Tiki bar and produce a second set of bubbles, or halve production time (from whatever time you would be at running the mill, so you wouldn't lose the speed bonus for leveled up mills). So it currently takes me 15 minutes to make coconut milk and 45 to make s smoothie. If I "hire" a seagull for one hour and the next orders I put in are one milk and one smoothie, the milk would be done in 5.5 min. and the smoothie in 22.5, and I'd pay the gull $1000. (Or any amount, really, given that the long time players have SO much money. Which is why this will never happen--because it would make the game easier for us and not cost us anything of value, so in essence it would be almost free--what do I care if I drop down to $3mil or even $1m?-- and they can't have that.) They could even limit it--seagulls will only provide 10 hours of work per week, max., so use smartly!

It's such a lazy (but common) out to simply create a new currency when many players have accumulated too much of the old one. Originally it was gold, gems, and experience, plus the hearts for character levels. Then they addd prestige, and now the revolving door of holiday/special event currency, which just sits forever unused once a player has purchased everything s/he deems of value and can afford.

Maybe instead of making more currency, they should give us ways to spend the existing currency, for players at all levels. I'm sure it will never happen, but it would be nice!

Yes, I did mean to produce items concurrently (thank you for helping to clarify!)
