I know I don't write in the forum often, but I do use it as a reference alot and Liv has always been so helpful explaining the various PB events. But I haven't seen any posts from her since we got official notice that our beloved PB is going away.

Where are you Liv? I think we all need to hear what you think about this devastating news.

Dear Friends,
Please forgive my absence [as well as my silence]. I didn’t get on the game until around midday of the announcement. I did what most others did and immediately began purchasing PS chests in efforts to max any available pets. Unfortunately for me, that was limited to only the new Lion.

It wasn’t for another couple hours that the trauma and insult sat in.
The trauma of losing one of my main sources of ‘past-time’ and the insult over the fact that they threw 10M gems at every single player; regardless of whether or not that player has EVER patronized the game. 10M gems (if purchased with RW currency) equates to roughly $199,000.00 USD. So IMO, as a farewell; they choose to mock all those who have ever made a gem purchase by basically demonstrating just how worthless and futile the currency truly is.

While I don’t regret any purchases I chose to make in the game; I do disapprove of this back handed gesture. They didn’t even have the sincerity to allow us to use our newly acquired riches [or accumulated Pet Tickets for that matter] by releasing all pet stickers. How half hearted (or just plan lazy) of them???

If you want to shut down the game, just do it!!! You didn’t have to spit in my face beforehand. I play many other King Games...but after this, they won’t be getting another dollar out of me.

Farewell to you all! It has sincerely been a pleasure!!!

Liv, whatever 10 million gems PB has spread amongst us common folk doesn't take away from your swift accomplishments over these years.

The pride in knowing you earned it is worth so much more.

I've looked to your posts to help push myself through events, thinking" yes, I can do this, it is possible and is worth it".

Without your beacon, many of us would probably have not pushed on.

There's a reason there's a trophy beside your picture.....you are a champion!

I know wherever you land next, you'll be leading the charge and blazing trails.

I would sure like to know who keeps rating threads with low stars.

Livinez' points are valid. Who in the world would give this thread/post a low star rating?

In any event, I do believe what goes around comes around or you reap what you sow.

Time will only tell what Paradise Bay Karma will unfold.

Maybe another Paradise Bay like game will come out that will make more money than all of Activision/King games combined.

Who knows.

In any event, I will miss my Island and pets.
