The Otters are missing ,the Otters are missing

The Otters are no longer in the Build Menu and I have all 6 of them everyone need to check if theirs is missing as well because some have stated that theirs is gone as well and can't buy the rest they need. Please fix this.

They're tired of diving for us and took a vacation!!

I'm a bit confused now. I tried to put one back in storage, thinking they might appear then but I have no option to put any of them in storage. Same for moles, turtles, slothes and mills . Has this always been the case or am I just playing the game so long that I might have forgotten this?

Lol, it's always been that way...for as long as I can remember anyway (been playing since August 2015, maybe it changed at one point) We can't store any of them.

Yes, they are gone from my built meny as well, but as long as they are still in a water...
I also have all of them, so nothing to buy from built meny anyway

Well, my bad. Thanks for the clarification anyway.
But it keeps me thinking why we can't do it. If we could put some otters away when we don't need them (since we can't do stacking with them), it would save us some water space.
